Foodie Blogroll is looking for dynamic Digital Advertising Sales Representatives to join our sales team.

Our offerings include digital advertising solutions targeting platforms such as blogs, Facebook, Twitter and other social media. These offerings are designed for use on a stand-alone basis or as an integral part of a seamless advertising solution.  

Job Description:

The Sales Representative will focus on driving revenues and building strategic relationships within the Food vertical by identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through telephone, e-mail and web prospecting. This role builds relationships with clients and pinpoints new sales opportunities in small, medium and large size corporate accounts. We are looking for sales professionals that can make a direct and immediate impact with a fast growing online advertising company.

We are looking for partners rather than just employees. So while this is an opportunity to help us build an awesome product for a legacy market that is undergoing a major disruption, this is also an opportunity to influence the character of the company and work environment. Besides a wild ride and a lot of learning, we’ll provide both a competitive commission structure and equity.

Job Duties:

  • Develop and cultivate leads for the sales pipeline.
  • Persuasively articulate Foodie Blogroll’s offerings, competitive advantages, resources and processes to clients and prospects.
  • Establish network of relationships in the Food vertical category.
  • Maintain effective, revenue-generating relationships with client-direct, media agency and creative agencies within territory.
  • Assist in implementation and insure high levels of service to clients.
  • Listen to, identify and understand prospects' viewpoint and tailor communication to meet prospect needs and expectations.
  • Display a thorough understanding of assigned accounts' business needs and revenue potential.
  • Provide ongoing internal reporting and analysis via CRM tools
  • Ensure consistency of all communications and materials to prospects and clients.
  • Educate self on industry news, trends and brands within assigned territory.


  • Proven track record of sales success with high close ratio.
  • Solid understanding of Digital Marketing, advertising, and metrics.
  • Motivated individual who consistently strives to exceed goals and push revenue expectations.
  • 2+ years sales experience required focusing primarily in Media based technology solutions.
  • 2+ years online technology sales experience required.
  • Be extremely knowledgeable and passionate about online media and the web as a marketing platform - specifically conversational media (blogs, micro-blogs, social networks, applications, video, mobile, etc.)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • MS Office experience (Microsoft word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Familiar with SalesForce.com and other CRM lead management tools.

Job Type: Indipendent Contractor - 1099

Salary: Sales Commission and equity. Possibility for a base salary depending on performance.
